Networking
Welcome, students from Tulane. We hope you can use this page to meet other members of the Case community. Whether you want to meet a fellow oboe player or want to discuss your chemistry homework, we hope this page will assist you in getting to know other members of the Case community. Additionally we encourage you to read other Case blogs or create a personal blog for your own use. Our bloggers discuss any number of topics, and we’ve found that reading and commenting on one another’s blogs is a great way to share ideas and meet new people on campus.
Please submit comments or questions below to begin your networking experience.

I just wanted to reach out to any incoming displaced Tulanians or New Orleanians. I am a first year med student here at Case from Louisiana and am a Tulane alumnus. If any of you guys want help adjusting to Case or to come hang out with my friends and I. Feel free to email me at rjc28@case.edu. Good luck in Cleveland.
The Graduate Student Senate (GSS) would like to assist those who are displaced in whatever way possible. Please email me if you would be willing to let us help in any way! We are diverse and resourceful - so don't hesitate to drop me a line! We look forward to meeting you!
Peace - Liz Olson
The University Counseling Service/Collegiate Behavioral Health is offering a support group for students who have been affected by Hurricane Katrina.
This includes students who have been displaced from their home-university and are attending Case, students who were attending Case and who have homes/families/loved-ones in the affected areas, and other students who are experiencing the impact of the disaster and are looking for support.
The group is scheduled to be held during Provost Hour on Thursdays, from 11:30AM - 12:30PM beginning Thursday, September 22. It is scheduled to run every week for eights weeks (through Thursday, November 10th), depending on the interest and attendance.
This is an open group, which means that students are welcome to attend any of the group meetings, even if they missed any/all of the previous meetings.
The group will be co-facilitated by Jane Daroff, LISW and Rich Pazol, Psy.D.
The group will meet in the International Student Lounge on the second floor of the Sears Library Building. This is down the hall from the University Counseling Service, the Career Center, and the International Students Office.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions.

where can i find out about soccer pick-up games near Severance?
Yutaka,
If you would like to join a regular team,
information about intramural soccer is online at http://studentaffairs.case.edu/athletics/intramural/events/doc/socceref0506.pdf
patrick.kennedy@case.edu in athletics could probably help connect you with a team in need of a player.
If you are looking for something more informal, I've heard that they have pick-up games at 6:30 weeknights in Wade Oval (Between the Natural History Museum and the Botanical Garden) but I don't know if that is still true, or if there is a specific night. Best wishes.
