Networking Session
The networking session was one of the most valuable exercises that we did in class. As an international student, it was always hard for me to actually step up and talk to people because I did not want to make my self look funny from my strong accent and misunderstanding of English vocabularies. It was actually had to take my nerves and start a conversation with people that I did not know. Talking to a lot of people, I realized how many good opportunities that I have missed in my life from lacking networking skills. Also, I was surprised to when I realized that I was lacking networking even with my classmates. I truly felt that networking is the most important area that I should work on in order to success both in my career and my personal life as well. Also, my parents tell me everyday how important networking skill is in my life, and now I know why they have been telling me everyday. Now that I know how important networking is, I will be trying hard to improve my networking skills. This opportunity has given me courage to step up and speak with people, which I believe is an important skill in business and management.

I was also having a hard time mingling with others on purpose. However, without having a purpose you can feel easy to close to others. I think it is one way to make you have easier networking. :)

I was also having a hard time mingling with others. If you feel more confidence, you can get more people in networking.
