Well, I figured you guys just skipped last week's post due to Greek Week. Glad to see that was not the case. I have been waiting, so I have plenty to say about the latest (well, 2nd latest) episode.

I remember you guys were talking about the Sonic game and saying how you were yearning for the series to get back to it's roots. I don't know if any of you have picked up a copy of Sonic Rush yet, but you should. It is side-scrolling Sonic at it's finest. It's ridiculously fast paced, makes little use of the stylus, and when it does, it works. At $20 (at EB in the mall near me) I highly recommend picking it up.

You guys talked about how Nintendo doesn't have the money to throw at third parties in order to get exclusives. That is definitely an incorrect statement. Nintendo makes bank on mostly everything it does. It is the only company that MAKES money on it's consoles. I just don't think that third party exclusives are Nintendo's style. They like to put out a lot of their own home brew exclusives, but shelling out the money for a GTA III type exclusive just has never been what they're about.

You guys were talking about Captain Marvel getting his own movie or show. But more importantly fighting Supes. Have you guys ever read Kingdom Come? It is quite the good read, and has a climactic battle between Superman and Captain Marvel. Definitely worth the couple hours it takes to get through.

Pokemon D/P ... well, I finally am throwing my hat back into the Pokemon ring and preordered a copy of Pearl. You guys have to email me your friend codes so we can be doing some Pokes-mon tradin'.

Okay, so I am having trouble commenting on the newest video. Something is buggy on the site and everything is a link to the podcast. This is what I wanted to say:

The only thing I wanted to add in on the topic of reviewing games is that you can't compare it to reviewing movies or music, for that matter. When you watch a movie there is no chance of the movie breaking down technically. Any failure that could possibly occur while watching a movie would be a hardware malfunction, and not really relate to the movie itself. So, when reviewing games you have to take into account that everything is running technically smooth, no random clipping, you don't fall through floors, things like that. So the reason that most games get about a 5-6 is that when you are below that score it indicates that something is physically wrong with the game. Somehow, it's broken. Nevertheless, I do think that most reviewers will overate games. Also, I think that review content is just as important as the number attached. Justin's right, you can give Zelda a 4, just make sure you tell me why.

With that being said, I give "Blog @ Case: Beta" a 2 out of 5.
