One Step Closer...
Oh Great!! Another thing has gone wrong with my laptop. All of a sudden, the volume just decided not to work. It was working one minute and the next, it wasn't. I don't know what is going on!? I took my laptop back into Best Buy yesterday, and thankfully, I guess, the Geek Squad could not fix it, so they had to send it back to Toshiba.
Strike 2!! 1 more and here comes my brand new laptop! I am so excited... I just hope something else goes wrong by itself, and I don't have to break it because I wouldn't know where to begin! Although, I have several ideas thanks to my friend, who's a computer genius; Oh, and of course, thanks to Professor Yoo!! Ha Ha!
The only problem is I am without a computer again. It's not easy getting by without a computer as a college student. I feel like I am always on it, and now, what am I going to do?
Oh well, it's worth it in the long run. In the meantime, I have my roommates' computers, my boyfriend's computer and wonderful Nord!
I'm almost there... I'll keep my readers posted.

Hang in there! I've done 2 months without a computer at Case due to a massive virus. I wish that had happened to me while I was taking this course, because it taught me a lot about taking the perspective of other generations or economic classes that don't have access to computers. I think it definitely makes the computer more of a tool and less of a toy- there's not much time to check AIM profiles and facebook when you're on someone else's computer! Good luck...

omg!! i feel your pain :[ my computer hates me and always has seizures... It's really lucky though that your computer is made by Toshiba. Lesser known computers (like mine which is by Averatec) lack the technological support needed for a fix. I know some companies offer free virus protection after they confirm your ownership. Case ITS offers one free walk-in a year and it saved my computer from crashing.

So at the end of last year my laptop decided to die. I mean hardcore die where none of the information on it could be saved. It was really sad, but the wonderful perceptis guys fixed it...although now my volume buttons don't work...go figure.
