Opportunities in Human Rights Law
If you are interested in human rights law, now is the time to apply for opportunities. First, the Klatsky Human Rights Fellowship provides the opportunity for two first or second year students to work at Human Rights Watch in New York or Washington, DC for the summer. The selected fellows will receive $4,000 to complete the eight to ten week internship. Applications are due to the CSO by Friday, February 2, 2007 at 1:00pm. The application materials include a resume, a one-page statement of interest, and a signed application form (available in the CSO Resource Room).
In addition, you can find information on many other Human Rights internships through the Human Rights Internships 2006 resource published by the Career Education Institutes. You can review this publication in the CSO resource room or go to the CSO blackboard site and search under Job Search Links, Internships for Law Students. This publication includes internships across the U.S. and internationally.
