Continue checking symplicity and other job related sites while on break

Some employers have early deadlines for summer applications. For example, symplicity currently has several job postings that have deadlines over winter break or soon after the start of the spring semester.

The Kings County District Attorney is accepting applications until December 15, 2009 for summer positions on symplicity. The office is located in Brooklyn Heights, NY and in a wonderful part of the city. Make sure to review the website before applying to see if this position is right for you! www.brooklynda.org.

Be aware of the different bureaus that accept law clerks and the community the organization serves. Students from Case Western have worked there in the past and the CSO met with this employer recently. For additional information about the Kings County DA, please contact the CSO.

The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland is accepting applications until January 29, 2010 for summer positions on symplicity. They will be on campus for interviews in early February. www.lasclev.org

The Lake Erie Crushers are accepting applications for summer non-legal positions in the marketing, media, sales and promotions and communications department. For students interested in sports management and/or sports law, this position maybe a great way to get your foot in the door. Applications are accepted until December 15, 2009 through Symplicity.

The San Diego Public Defender is accepting applications until January 30, 2010. Summer law clerks work in the felony division and will have a hands-on experience. www.sdcounty.ca.gov/public_defender/index.html
