Google - Define: love.
I made Google define "love," since it is one of the hardest words to describe. I was curious what Google would come up with.
Here are a few interesting definitions of love on the Web that Google came up with:
- Love can mean an intense feeling of affection, an emotion, or emotional state. In ordinary use, it usually refers to interpersonal love. (wikipedia.org)
- Zero in tennis language. Love-thirty is 0-30. (cbs.sportsline.com)
- Comes from the French l'oeuf, the egg, a reference to the egg-shaped zero symbol. (encyclopedia.laborlawtalk.com)
- That condition wherein the other person's happiness is essential to your own. (www.number-one-adult-sexual-health-terms-advisor.com)
- Is energy; it sustains all form and formlessness; our true identity. Love lives in the Heart. It is the Glue of the Universe. It is a Soul quality. (www.goddirect.org)
- Sane state of mind seeking peace; charm and attraction. (cosmicledger.com)
- The unifying agent of universal design, which is based upon the Intent of best benefit to all, as well as high vibrational states. A mutuality of appreciation in the common recognition of Oneness. That inherent quality of existence whose depth of feeling liberates and inspires spiritual revelation. (www.eoni.com)
- The givingness of the self. (www.global.org)

I'm amused by the description "sane state of mind". It seems to me that we often look on people who have fallen in love quickly as the exact opposite.

I think some people who read this entry tried to use google to define love themselves. In order to use google definitions, you need to put a colon after 'define.' So you need to put in:
define: love
in order for it to work properly.
