Microsoft 'applauds' fraud convictions
Microsoft is content to find out that three person were just convicted of committing fraud against them. Mirza Ali, his wife, Sameena Ali, and Keith Griffen were convicted after cheating Microsoft when buying computer software’s. The con artists fooled Microsoft by stating that they were buying software’s in order to sell them to schools. Because of that they were able to buy the software’s at a cheaper price; however in the end they sold the software’s to the public. Microsoft estimates that they lost around $60 million dollars in the scam.
