They provide local (50-100 miles from greater Cleavland) Certified Organic, sustainable and conventionally farmed produce on a partial or full season (this year is June 18 to Nov 12) basis. You get an attractive tote bag full of fruits, vegetables - and sometimes special items like honey - for one to two people plus a loaf of artisan bread and a newsletter.

As a consumer, you can sign up for a season-long share, or there is an a la carte option where you can order whatever, in whatever way you want. They also have $30 trial shares that vary week to week, which are a set of products that resemble something you would get if you signed up for the full season. All the signing up is done in order forms on their website.

A CSA, as it says on their site, is "a form of cooperative purchasing in which a group of neighbors purchase a share of produce from a local farmer. The farmer receives payment upfront in exchange for a bounty of produce throughout the growing season. This is a form of “community supported agriculture” in which a group of people support a local farmer or group of local farmers by committing a portion of their weekly food budget to supporting that farm."
