A New Frontier
For a long time I considered blogs to be a new, shiny way for angsty kids to show the world how amazingly deep they are and how their tear-blurred experience of the world differs from everyone else's. Yeah, it was a stereotype, but we all know that there is some truth to it.
However, after reading blogs such as Mano Singham's, I've realized that blogs can serve a much higher purpose. The internet has provided us with a free and instantaneous printing press for the masses, an opportunity for brilliant people like Professor Singham to share their bit of truth with the world, and a chance for ranters like me to get on their soapbox and bore an even larger audience. And how could I pass up an opportunity like that?
I can't really say whether you will find anything of value here. This blog may or may not change the way that you see the world. With any luck it'll give you something to think about, in which case I hope you'll send me a reply or a comment. Agree or disagree, truth comes from discussion.
