Tri Training - Day 1, for real

Today is the first day of my official triathlon training schedule. I was going to do the 3x schedule, but that meant spending way more time in the gym than I had. Instead, I'm doing the swim focused program. That means I swim 3x a week but only run and bike 2x each. I think that will fit into my schedule much better. I only double up on Wednesday.

So, today was a 12 minute swim. Did alternating laps of sprint and pull with just a little rest. Definitely had my heart pumping, but not in a bad way :)

Stayed tuned...only 20 weeks till the race!
