2008/09 MSASS International Study Trips
Award Winning MSASS International Study/Travel 3 Credit Hour Courses (Spring) for Undergrad & Grad students being planned for 2008 & 2009
When we explore a culture and lifestyle different from our own, we discover more about our culture, lifestyle and ourselves.
“Students are able to compare social services, policy, & practice with an intent to understand their own system better and learn about alternative approaches to social problems… and are provided an opportunity to experience a culture different from their own as a way to promote personal growth, enhance cultural sensitivity, & expand their world views” ( Lindsey E.W., 2005)
Currently Planned Trips:
Winter Break 2008/09: El Salvador and India
Spring Break 2009: Guatemala, Israel, Netherlands
May 2009: China
