NEO CANDO Update: July 2008

Over the past few months the following data sources have been updated:
Social and Economic Data:

  • Public Assistance, Second Quarter (April, 2008)
  • USPS (postal service) vacancy data (First quarter, 2008) [commercial and residential are now available as seperate counts]
  • Cleveland Metropolitan School District data on Proficiency Test (2006-2007 school year)
  • IRS data on tax returns (2005)

    Property Data:

  • 2007 Property Characteristics and Tax Bill info
  • Property transfer (sales) data are available through May 31, 2008

    NEO CANDO, Northeast Ohio Community and Neighborhood Data for Organizing, is a free and publicly accessible social and economic data system of the Center on Urban Poverty and Community Development. NEO CANDO allows users to access data for the entire 17 county Northeast Ohio region, or for specific neighborhoods within Cleveland.
