Before getting a formal introduction to the Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT) model, Dianne Asher, LSCSW, CADC-I, often felt frustrated and powerless in her work as a case manager and team leader. In the 1990s, she became one of the first practitioners in the State of Kansas to be introduced to IDDT and was recruited by The University of Kansas to lead IDDT implementation throughout the sunflower state. . . .
