PNC is donating a $300,000 grant for Starting Point, a lead UPK agency, and Gund is giving a $1 million award to IIC for the UPK program. Gund has provided prior support as well, helping to launch the pilot UPK program in 2008.

The Poverty Center, working with IIC, has evaluated the pilot program since its inception and demonstrated that the program is having a positive impact, helping the children it servers to be better prepared for success in school.
