In late October, six delegates from Volvograd, Russia, traveled to the U.S. and stopped by the Mandel School. The group was participating with the Open World Program at the Library of Congress and Case Western Reserve University was one of their planned visits.
They came to MSASS because they wanted to learn more about its social work curriculum. The delegates all work in higher education and wanted to learn more about how social work programs are structured in the U.S. A few of the delegates mentioned that social work is an area of interest and wanted to learn how licensing and training is administered in the states.
The group visit was sponsored by the Council of International Programs USA, a non-profit organization based in Cleveland.
