Distinguished University Professor M.C. Terry Hokenstad recently returned from a week in Russia where he consulted with members of the Russian Academy of Education and the Accreditation Board of Social Pedagogy and Social Work. Russian social work education has recently been restructured to provide two levels of professional preparation for social workers.
Hokenstad also lectured on the Social Work Global Agenda and Disaster Management Education for Social Workers at Tolstoy University in Tula. While there, he provided program consultation and a seminar on curriculum building at the master's level.
