Webinar on Invest in Children's Positively Moms Initiative

Cuyahoga County's Invest in Children's Positively Moms Initiative (PMI) held a special webinar on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 entitled "Addressing Maternal Stress and Depression." The webinar featured Dr. Rob Fischer, Co-Director of the Center on Urban Poverty and Community Development, and Dr. Rebekah Dorman, Director of Invest In Children.

Drs. Fischer and Dorman discussed the Positively Moms Initiative, a curriculum delivered by Help Me Grown home visits in effort to reduce maternal distress during the perinatal period. The Poverty Centers is currently conducting an elevation study on PMI for IIC.

The Center on Urban Poverty and Community Development is a research center at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, a graduate school of social work at Case Western Reserve University.
