Foundations of Motivational Interviewing, Parts 1 & 2

Participate in skill-building exercises to learn MI's client-centered approaches for fostering change and responding to ambivalence to change among individuals with severe mental illness (SMI) and/or substance use disorders. These events utilize role play and other group exercises to help you recognize, elicit, and strengthen change-talk among people you serve. MI is a core component of IDDT, ACT, Health Homes, other best practices./ Presenter Jeremy Evenden, MSSA, LISW-S, of the Center for Evidence-Based Practices.
