Profits at Any Expense
I was reading this article the other day and the following quote bothered me:
... "National City chairman and CEO David A. Daberko said an increasingly difficult economic climate for consumers meant more overdraft fees for the bank" ...
Doesn't it seem sad when the CEO blatantly points out economic distress as one cause for increased profits? Where’s Robin Hood when you really need him.
