KSL Targets Web Content Management

In response to traditional challenges that organizations have with managing web content from many authors the Kelvin Smith has created it's very own Web Content Management System. This system appropriately named KSL Content Manager is completely integrated with the University branding guidelines. The core strength of this system is its ease of use for those content providers with little knowledge of HTML or web publishing. It’s simplicity is its cornerstone. One of the biggest problems on the Case campus with web authorship is the lack of support for content creation and management on campus. All of this has just gotten a lot easier. KSL Content Manager’s many features are:
1. Integration with Microsoft.Net framework
2. Full Integration with ITS Oracle Environment for dynamic content and page generation
3. Behind the scenes integration with University branded templates
4. Fully customizable security groups leveraging Case LDAP architecture
5. RSS Feed Integration available for content managers
6. Full Administrative Interface for site managers
7. Web statistics reporting with the industry leading package: WebTrends
8. Integrated with Case SAN architecture lifting traditional disk drive capacity restrictions

We are currently experimenting with packaging the KSL Content Manager so it can be installed and configured in your own environment. We are also considering hosting sites for academic departments in our environment while allowing the authors to continue to fully administer their sites. Feel free to contact me for further information and to check out our site http://library.case.edu

Do you think that I could get a crack at playing with it?

Well we have not created a self installer as of yet. However, we would certainly be willing to demonstrate the environment 1 on 1 with you and see if there is an interest.
