Case Compute Exchange

Well it has been an interesting month but the Case Compute Exchange is almost here. The Case Compute Exchange will allow users to lease hardware, software and storage for free during the duration of the pilot. It also provides a great interface for ITS to provision and managing these services to the Case community. This 3 month pilot slated to run from April to July will allow users to sign up and use virtual Linux servers able to run any software, remote data storage, and high performance processing and memory intensive applications. For a sneak preview of the types of things you can use this pilot for see the following wiki article on the Case wiki: http://wiki.case.edu/Grid_Dynamics_pilot

More information to follow next week about how to actually sign up and start using the pilot. Drop a line to nlambert@griddynamics.com if you want to discuss ways the pilot can be useful to you or your user group.
