New Library Service: "Advance Courtesy Notice" = Never Have Late Books Again...
Library automated notices traditionally have been sent to you after your library materials were due, too late to find your items and return them on time. Now, the library generates automated reminder notices - before your materials are due:
- 3 days before a due date, you'll get an automated email Advance Courtesy Notice.
- Advance Courtesy Notice lists multiple items in one email notice, reducing email clutter.
- Advance Courtesy Notice operates 7 days a week, for true 3-day-advance alerting.
Save time with Advance Courtesy Notice — finish using an item, & return it within 3 days, without interrupting your work just to return late items. Whether your checked out items number many or few, now Advance Courtesy Notice is a 3-day reminder notice about your due dates. You can better manage your materials, and also maximize your work flow.
Advance Courtesy Notice emails are automatically sent to your assigned Case email account, just like Overdue, Recall, and Ready-for-pickup notices. If you use a different email address forward your Case email, so you always receive notices. Check your spam filter or junk/trash folders, and configure your mail to receive notices. The Library is not responsible for notices that are not received — check your account regularly.
All library notices are courtesy notices--read more about your library account and PIN, or talk with staff at the KSL Main Service Desk at 368-3506.
