New E-Journals
The Project MUSE database adds new e-journals that offer refereed content across many disciplines. Delve into Japanese culture, Asian music, modern drama (1850-today), "early modern" cultural studies (late 15th-late 19th centuries), and Victorian periodicals.
History, ethnomusicology, gender studies, economics, Eastern literature, Dickens, and more are within the newest journals from Project MUSE. Read more about them and about Project MUSE database riches, and how to find them on the database list.

May 21--Campus Power Shutdown Affects KSL and Content Access
ITS and Plant Services maintenance will affect KSL 24x7 access in the evening of May 20 and in early morning hours of May 21. There will be no door access to KSL or available electronic content (including web-based library forms and KSL email accounts) during this maintenance period.
Interruption to services begins on Friday May 20: 8:30 p.m. to midnight, with doors locking and content servers beginning shutdown. This continues through Saturday May 21: midnight to 8:00 a.m.
KSL regular business hours will close as usual on Friday at 8:30 p.m., and resume as usual on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m.We apologize for this unanticipated interruption in library access and content.
The KSL homepage has an ITS newslink, and will have any post-maintenance issues to answer any access and content issues on Saturday.

New Extended KSL Hours During May Interim--24x7 Access
Take advantage of an extended 24x7 service model this month--finish a grant proposal or project before June 1, prepare for summer or fall semesters.
KSL has longer business hours this year during intersession, and has continued 24x7 access, to all floors and collections. Swipe your Case, CIA, CIM ID card in the main doors, and show your ID to the officer as you enter. Extended hours and 24x7 access (Monday May 30, Memorial Day is closed) continue through May 31.
Business Hours with KSL library staff:
Monday through Friday : 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday business hours 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
(Sunday, no business hours) Visitors are welcome during business hours.
All other hours are authorized 24x7 access.
