If you used the new 3M SelfCheck machine during the week of October 10th, you were entered in 5 daily drawings for either Starbucks spill-proof mugs or Barnes & Noble gift certificates, and also a Grand Prize 3M Gift Box at the end of the week. Congrats to the Case students, faculty, and staff who were daily prize winners: Elizabeth, Ruth, Jason, Vanessa, Agnes, Ellen, Robert, Scott, Ross, Marcos, Joyce, and Paiman.
Grand Prize winner of the hefty 30-plus item 3M Gift Box, was Callie (photos used with permissions) who happily shared the moment with friends Maggie and Rachel.
Callie gets to share the wealth of desktop, household, and healthcare items in the box, including somethings that many saw inside the box...a very cool roll of clear duct tape, photo laminating sheets, and more.
Thanks to all who used the SelfCheck when the line was long, you were in a hurry, or when you needed a book at 3:30 a.m., for mid-term studying! Special thanks to our Jeff Wagner, our 3M representative, for sponsoring some daily prizes and the grand prize 3M gift box.
The KSL Freedman Center launches our first podcast. Tune in to hear a short audio clip with music, a welcome to the Freedman Center, and an introduction to the world of multi-media authorship, by Jared Bendis.
It's easy to listen to a podcast! You only need your computer and an iTunes application--now freely available to Windows users, and included on all Macintosh computers. Read more about it on the KSL homepage news item, watch for future podcasts, and enjoy another innovative service!
When you need to pay a fine at KSL to clear your account (so you can check out DVDs or iBooks, use the Freedman Center, or borrow books on OhioLINK) staff can now swipe your card through the CaseCash card reader at the Main Service Desk. It's fast, and easy!
Faculty and staff can activate their ID cards online to take advantage of campus purchases, and now, for clearing library fines at KSL. Students can also check CaseCard information to keep library accounts paid up and clear. Don't carry cash to clear library fines--just like bookstore, food services, or local merchants, use your electronic cash to clear your library account and maintain library privileges, and get on to other things!
