New Streaming Audio Online--Naxos Music Library Jazz
Nearly 20,000 music tracks featuring historical jazz, Naxos Music Library Jazz is a collaborative project between the Case Kulas Music Library and the Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM). This new database complements the 75,000 track contemporary jazz collection in the Naxos Music Library to which Case users also have access.
- Keyword Browse/Search for title/artist, or Advanced Search for composition or disc title, featured artist (ensemble, orchestra, soloist, etc.), catalogue number.
- Play a CD by selecting tracks or "Select All," then click "Play."
- About This Recording: printable album cover art & notes, for many titles.
- Playlists: available via password to faculty for class assignments. Email Stephen Toombs, at Kulas Music Library for password and playlist assistance.
Try out your favorite artist today, or discover new ones from browsing. Looking for Montreux will lead you to the mid-70s and the likes of Oscar Peterson, Ella Fitzgerald, Trumpet Kings and Jam Sessions...enjoy!
Find Naxos Music Library Jazz and the Naxos Music Library on the Case Catalog with a Naxos title search, or from the Research Database List. Access is restricted to the CIM and Case networks (please log out when you are finished) or remote access with an active VPN connection.
