Author's Series Featured @KSL: Amy Tan in October
Complementing a new program with Cuyahoga County Public Library Foundation and it's Writer's Center Stage Series, Case announces that faculty will lead book discussions on campus, prior to each author's events and appearances at Playhouse Square in Cleveland. Case is a sponsor of this new series program, and brings the authors to campus for lively discussions of their works.
Case facutly will facilitate meetings and conversations with featured authors in the series. Unless otherwise noted, the discussions take place at Kelvin Smith Library in the 2nd floor Dampeer Room during the Provost Hour 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Upcoming Case book discsussions:
- October (date TBA): Amy Tan's The Joy Luck Club, with Professor judith Oster
- March 8: Jim Lehrer with Professor Karen Beckwith, Flora Stone Mather Professor, Dept. of Political Science
- April (date & facilitator TBA): Tony Kushner and George C. Wolfe's Angels in America.
