Expanded Online Journal Collections in Sciences & Nursing
JSTOR adds nursing and public health titles (12-15 new titles coming in 2006-07) and adds issues to science titles in its renamed Health & General Sciences Collection. New issues added to existing collections enable you to read what was in Volume 1 of Science in 1880, and compare it to 100 years' later in 1990/Vol. 250...or to 2000.
New JSTOR journals include Environmental Health Perspectives 1972-2006; the American Journal of Nursing 1900-1998; the Journal of Community Health Nursing 1984-2000, Scientific Monthly 1915-1957 (absorbed by Science), and new depth in Science 1880-2000; Philosophical Transactions (Biological Sciences) (Mathematical, Physical and Engineering Sciences); and Proceedings of the Royal Society of London.Series A, Mathematical and Physical Sciences 1905-1990.
Online journals are also easy to find from our new E-Journal Portal -- type in the journal you need, and the result displays journal subscriptions like JSTOR, plus databases that include the title.
JSTOR journals are licensed only for Case individuals and off campus access requires an active VPN connection. The collections offer full text access to approximately 670 scholarly periodicals in humanities, arts and sciences, and social sciences, from the first issue of the journal to recent issues.
