2nd Digital Library Lecture Series--Kenneth Price
Kelvin Smith Library's 2006-07 Digital Library Lecture series proudly presents Dr. Kenneth Price on Thursday, April 5th, 1:30 p.m. with "From Scholarly Edition to Thematic Research Collection: the Walt Whitman Archive and the Metamorphosis of Humanistic Studies." Co-director of the Center for Digital Research in the Humanities at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Co-director of the Walt Whitman Archive, Dr. Price highlights collaborative & interdisciplinary research in the humanities, as well as the technological tools required to use digital research.
Join us on Thursday, April 5, as Kenneth Price sparks conversation about the way we can create, use, analyze, and shape our future electronic scholarship. You'll hear his views on whether or not putting Whitman on the Internet has changed literary scholarship and culture, and he'll challenge your thoughts on the very way we talk about it.
Thursday, April 5, 1:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
Kelvin Smith Library, 2nd floor Dampeer Room
