Learn Poster Skills: New CaseLearns Class!
One of KSL's serivces is research poster consultation & printing, offered through the staff and services of our Center for Statistics and Geospatial Data Center. The CSGD offers a new class this summer, Basics of Making a Research Poster. Ann L. Vander Schrier, Manager of GIS Systems and Numeric Data Services says: "Even if you've never made one before, in half an hour you can become a first-time poster creator!"
Register for the class (limited to 30) and learn basic design & assembly of a research poster. Receive expert help & tips on the best visual elements to use, and the best layout for your information. Whether it's your first poster, or you're looking to improve your skills for your next presentation, take a class this summer, when you have time to work on it:
• Monday, July 9, 5-6 p.m.
• Friday, July 13, 1-2 p.m.
• Register through CaseLearns. Note: No-Show fees apply, per all CaseLearns classes.
After the presentation, class time inlcudes an opportunity to discuss specifics or get you started on your next poster.
Find CaseLearns on the QuickLink red menu bar on all KSL webpages. Find policies, this class & others, from the CaseLearns left sidebar Calendar search (choose summer semester, first), or by logging in to your personal CaseLearns schedule. CaseLearns has a variety of Summer 2007 classes. Register today!
