Enhance Reading: Use BooksInPrint, KSL's July Research Spotlight
A favorite database of many at Case, BooksInPrint gets better than ever, with new enhancements for finding items, reading both publisher-provided and independent reviews, creating customized alerts, or using the Fiction Connection to "find more like" titles/authors you enjoy!
Take time to explore the gems at the top of the pages of this database, on the tabs marked Alert, Browse, Publishers, Awards, Bestsellers, and Bios. A few examples:
• Search the "Bestsellers" for the year you were born, or "this week," from nearly 2 dozen varied bestseller sites.
• "Browse" many options, including "Review Source," & check trusted review sources. Then View Selections, for reviews from the 40 sources like the Chicago Tribune, Kirkus, New York Times, or Criticas (Spanish language titles).
• Learn more about new or favorite authors, including their forthcoming works, in the "Bios" tab.
You can also use the link for Patron BooksInPrint to set up a personal account for your project or leisure reading. User-friendly, it lets you search & browse subject areas, use the Readers' Advisory, find children's literature, or titles in the Fiction Connection. Enjoy it all, in the KSL July Research Spotlight!
