International News Commons--Student Wins Gift Basket
A great crowd enjoyed the Open House event in the International News Commons on Wednesday Nov. 19th, and the grand prize winner posed for a photo with her Winter Survival Basket, full of fun & treats—including movie tickets for escaping winter & work. Congratulations, Neeti!
Others took advantage of the Open House to learn more about the 24x7 SCOLA plasma screen & archived shows, the kiosk with PressDisplay database on it and demonstrations of how to use PressDisplay's 700 newspapers as well as other non-English sources that KSL has to offer.
People sat in the new lounge furniture and got to know each other & also enjoyed international appetizers...
New friends met over food & fun, and then learned some new search tips from librarians...
