KSL Scholarly Communication Lecture Series Begins Nov. 6

Dr. Tara McPherson (University of Southern California) presents Expanding the Scholarly Imagination: Experiments in the Digital Humanities, in the first event of the KSL Scholarly Communication Lecture Series 2009-10.

The founding editor of Vectors (Journal of Culture and Technology in a Dynamic Vernacular), Prof. McPherson will discuss the journal's concept, mandates, and innovative design process. She will also discuss a new project funded by the Andrew Mellon Foundation and the future growth of digital humanities and academic experiences, learning, and partnerships in such new models of scholarly communication.

Friday, November 6, 2009, 12:30-2:00 p.m.
The event is open to all with academic interests.
