Mano Singham Discussion/New Book Signing @KSL Dec. 3, 2009
Mano Singham talks about God vs. Darwin: the War Between Evolution and Creationism in the Classroom, his newly published book. Kelvin Smith Library will host the discussion & book signing in the Flora Stone Mather Reading Room on Thursday, December 3rd, 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Find out more about it with this author as he blends philosophy, law, science, religion and education in his analysis about the evolution-religion controversy and ultimately, the control of educational curricula. Mano asks and addresses complex questions about teaching evolution in the U.S. and recounts the history of creationism through U.S. legal history—from the Scopes Trial in 1925 to the Dover trial in 2005.
