Veteran's History Project
American war history comes to life as the Library of Congress brings the Veteran's History Project to the world with this collection of audio-video stories, interviews, photographs, artifacts, scrapbooks and other items from those who have served.
Experience first-hand accounts from U.S. Veterans (1914 to the present) with sound, letters, V-mail & more. Civilians who were actively involved in war efforts are also included.
Search by conflict or era, gender, branch of service, POW, ethnicity, rank, service unit, and much more.
Enjoy this Veteran's History Project collection and read more about how it started, as we celebrate Memorial Day 2010.
