Think Globally, Act Locally @KSL
Celebrating International Education Week 2010, Kelvin Smith Library invites you to an event on Thursday, November 18, 2010. IEW began in 2000 as a collaboration between the U.S. Departments of State and Education to foster cultural exchange and global education understanding. Now the multicultural focus is celebrated in over 100 countries around the world, and Case graduates can expect to work & live in an ever-expanding global community.
Join us in KSL from 3-5 pm on Thursday, Nov. 18th for Think Globally, Act Locally:
• 3 pm: Keynote speaker Richard Crepage, Ed.D., Interim Director of the Cleveland Council of World Affairs
• 3:40 -4:25 pm: Panel featuring CWRU faculty and students
• International student information tables—learn more about Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan, China and the various scholars that attend Case from those countries, as well as the Study Abroad Programs
• Refreshments & Prizes, Raffle for Jamaica Kincaid's Among Flowers (5 copies) & other books.
KSL welcomes the Case community & anyone with an interest to attend this international event.
