NEW: Quiet Reading Room
It's busy. You're busy. There are lots of people everywhere...you need a place to escape. Now you have one—KSL has opened a new Quiet Reading Room for you.
It's an "old" space turned "new," where antiquity & history are carefully kept for researchers. Usually, Special Collections rooms require authorized entry, but Kelvin Smith Library has opened the door to this beautiful room. Come in and get some quiet reading done!
The environment is controlled to protect the materials, so food & beverages need to be used in other parts of the library. It's an easy trade because you'll be peacefully surrounded by art on the paneled walls, sculpture, nearby treasures, or WPA prints on the walls while you read...in peace & quiet.
When you need a quiet space to work, KSL's Special Collections Reading Room on the 2nd floor now gives you a new option.

Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00 pm | No food or beverages
When a class is scheduled or the room is unavailable, a sign outside the door lets you know ahead of time. If the door is open, it's your room to use!
