How Long Will Your Digital Prints Really Last? Preservation Exhibits
KSL's Preservation Department features 2 exhibits for "Pass It On: Saving Heritage and Memories..." the theme of national Preservation Week 2011. In the new art gallery area on the main floor, the exhibits help you understand how to save & manage your personal treasures.
• Do you have audio, video, email, or websites that you'd like to save?
• Do you have DVDs of images that need to be copied, or files of documents?

There are free bookmarks (quick tips for preserving books, paper, electronic media, photos) and also folders of free handouts with preservation basics & special tips. Look for them on top of the exhibit cases, and learn more about saving your personal items for the future!
The exhibits are part of the campus 2011 Preservation Week events. Read more about the programs, like the 3 free afternoon webinars, and bring in a personal item for a preservation evaluation by conservators from Kelvin Smith Library & the Judge Ben C. Green Law Library.
