Entrepreneurship: From Academia to Reality - Can It Happen?
Celebrating the entrepreneurial Case culture, KSL hosts an event that invites alumni & friends who have started businesses to connect with each other during Alumni Weekend. Their stories can inspire other generations of successful entrepreneurs much like the recent Richey-Mixon interview reveals about their $5 M gift for the new 'think box' building.
The Office of Corporate Relations has gathered an impressive panel from around the world & you can hear them share their path from-idea-to-success. Joseph Mandato, DM'04 and CWRU Trustee, and Managing Director of De Novo Ventures leads the panelists through their ideas, risks, innovations and expertise.
Join us on Friday, October 14th at 3:00 pm in the Kelvin Smith Library for this lively discussion with panelists:
• Mark Chance, Ph.D., Director of the Center for Proteomics and Bioinformatics; Interim Chair, Dept. of Genetics; Professor of General Medical Sciences, CWRU. Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Founder, NeoProteomics
• Victoria Livschitz, BS'94. Founder and CEO, Grid Dynamics
• Charu Ramanathan, MS'00, Ph.D.'04. Co-Founder and VP Scientific Affairs, CardioInsight
• Charles stack, LAW'82. Founder and CEO, Sideways, Inc.
