Meet the Winning Artists, Wed. 19th @KSL
Kelvin Smith Library's Octavofest schedule continues with an artist's book presentation, exhibition, Poetry Open Mic event, and the announcement of the awards from our Juried Art Competition. Join us at our Wed. 19th event & meet the artists!
• Wed. Oct. 19th, 3:30 pm. Learn more about "Artists' Books, Readers, and Reading" with a presentation by Cristine Rom, Director of the Gund Library at the Cleveland Institute of Art. 2nd floor Dampeer Room.
• An awards reception follows the presentation & winners of the Juried Art Competition will be announced by Arnold Hirshon, Associate Provost and University Librarian of the Kelvin Smith Library. Celebrate with the winners, 2nd floor Dampeer Room.
• 9 am- 6 pm See where the artists' ideas started. Exhibition, "Books that inspired the artists for the Juried Art Competition." Special Collections Department, 2nd floor.
NE Ohio's Octavofest, Celebrating the Book and Paper Arts continues throughout October, and is funded in part by a generous grant from the George Gund Foundation.
