Take a Moment to Review KSL's ID Policy
As the university moves into final exams and building use of Kelvin Smith Library increases, we encourage library users to review our ID policy. KSL's ID scan system, which was installed at the Welcome Desk over a year ago, has resulted in increased security for all of our guests. We appreciate the continued cooperation of library users in adhering to this policy. A quick scan of your ID is a simple way to help to keep KSL a safe and comfortable environment for everyone.
How it works:
- CWRU students, faculty and staff should scan their Case ID cards at the Welcome Desk as they enter the library.
- Non-CWRU visitors will need to present a valid photo ID at the Welcome Desk to sign in.
- All users should note that after 8:00pm they will need to either scan their Case ID or press the intercom (non-CWRU) to enter the building, and then scan or present ID once more at the Welcome Desk to gain access to the library.
