Explore "History of the Book" exhibit as presented by Robert H. Jackson, KSL Distinguished Visiting Scholar
Kelvin Smith Library invites you to a special tour of "History of the Book: From Clay Tablets to Electronic Tablet," an exhibit highlighting this relatively new field of study that is being widely used in universities and colleges throughout the country. Robert H. Jackson, Kelvin Smith Library’s Distinguished Visiting Scholar, will lead viewers through the exhibit he curated, which includes representative books and manuscripts from the 13th through the 20th centuries from around the globe. "History of the Book" is an exploration not only of the physical evolution of the book, but its development as a cultural artifact.
The presentation will take place in Kelvin Smith Library's Hatch Reading Room on Thursday, March 20 from 4 to 6 p.m.
