Movie month at Off the Shelf
October is movie month here at Off the Shelf. I'll be talking with the Music department's Daniel Goldmark about music from the classic Hollywood cartoon period, and with Rob Spadoni from the English department about horror films from the early days of sound in the cinema. Stay tuned- these interviews will be published the weeks of October 20th and October 27th.
The technical elves and I have been busy tweaking the look and feel of our home as well and we hope you like it.

Ohio Day of Dialog
Off the Shelf's intrepid host will be attending the upcoming Ohio Day of Dialog, hosted by Library Journal.
I am looking forward to the panel discussion entitled Interviewing Authors, as are, I am sure, future guests. The panel includes CWRU's own Thrity Umrigar. Hopefully I'll get an interview date booked with Professor Umrigar soon!
