Photo Blog from 100 Years is a 100-year-old photography blog that brings our ancestors into today's spotlight. The site is named after Shorpy Higginbotham, a boy who worked in an Alabama coal mine near the turn of the century. They started with a collection of photographs taken in the early 1900s by Lewis Wickes Hine as part of a decade-long field survey for the National Child Labor Committee.
