PA Senate Race

I'm more pleased that I have a right to be about the current poll reslts in the PA Senate Race (I know it's over a year away, but they're already running). Casey is up by 14%. Of course, it shouldn't be a big surprise considering that Santorum said last week that Katrina victims should be fined for not evacuating.

When I lived and voted in PA, I could never understand how Santorum got the seat in the first place. The most far-right assinine crap seems to be perpetually flowing from his mouth. Not that Bush ever lived up to the compassionate part of his ersatz compassionate conservatism, but Santorum seems to embrace F-U conservatism.

My only fear is that the Republicans could find some more powerful appointment for Santorum.
