Finally, I am blogging!
Yes, Today is the day! Almost 2 months after I have landed in the US for my MBA ,I have managed to come up with this inaugural 'blog'.
I never thought I will be blog someday as I always felt that blogging was just another internet fad. Well, I am doing it now and while I am writing this, I am wondering what is the point ?
Yes, thats the name of this blog. Honestly, I struggled to come up with a name. I contemplated a lot as to what will be an apt name for whatever I scribble here. I looked up some names but couldn't really find 'the one'.I wanted a nice name for this blog.Some suave English, Latin, Spanish or Sanskrit name which would have captured the essence of my 'writings' :) Well, I can't do somethings- I couldn't find a name!
I was spending too much time on the name hunting and I finally asked myself as to what is really the point of writing this blog ? And Bingo! there it was...what is the point ?
coincidentally, finding 'points' and understanding purpose of everything- from business strategies to newspaper editorials is the theme of my life for 2 years from now.
so while we are figuring out 'what is the point ?', I should mention that I have decided to blog for a reason.
Firstly, I want to 'plot' my MBA life. I have waited long to begin my master's (yes, 3 years work ex is long by Indian standards! ) and I really want to see how these 2 years shape up. I am hoping to see the 'change' this experience will allegedly bring about in me :)
furthermore, I feel this blog will help 'junta' (read fellow students,prospective applicants to Case Western and my long lost friends who are out of touch :) ) to get an insight into my life and consequently into the MBA world!
Lastly, at the end of 2 years I will be glad that I did something like this (which, btw I had never thought of!) and of course, it will be fun to look back and trace the 'plot'!
