Random thoughts

*I loved that they used the Case wiki site to comments and suggestions from 13th Annual Academic Happy Hour. Wiki makes complete sense for these kinds of brainstorming type of things. They ought to have a similar case wiki site for the energy saving committee or the money saving committee, so that everyone can see their idea out for right away, as opposed to submitting in a suggestion box, to be seen by who-knows.

*I think Heidi Cool should also post the Case Daily as a podcost. Or maybe have a different Case person for each day, so they can introduce themselves and do a little interview afterwards or play a song or some random sound from campus. Or maybe the Case Dailys can be summarized as a weekly Case Podly. Or something. My point is that the Case Daily should have a podcast.

*Am I the only one who doesn't watch Grey's Anatomy?

I always thought it would be cool if they would feature a random person at Case in each e-mail--staff, faculty, student, whatever. In fact, I was tempted to do that for my blog, but I decided it would be too much work for the reward.

Great ideas. I'll run them by the team.

I think having a speaker record 5-10 minutes of information related to one of the Case Daily entries might be a fun way to expand on a given topic. An .mp3 of a singing valentine would have been a good fit for the Men's Glee Club announcement. Interviews would work well.

What other examples would you suggest? How long should they be? Or should that vary by topic?

*Grey's Anatomy is a cute little show. Although it often deals with serious subject matter, it has the impish spirit of St. Elsewhere without the sturm und drang of ER.
