Here we go - MGMT 250
Well, this is my first real attempt at blogging, so there's bound to be a few bumps along the way. That said, let's get the show on the road.
After being extremely frustrated with my classes last semester, I decided that some change was in order. And change it was -- a drastic one from Computer Engineering into potentially Management. At this point, I'm still not exactly sure what I want to do though, and hopefully the personality and self-inventory tests we've been taking can help guide me in the right direction.
Speaking of these tests, we discussed the Learning Styles Inventory today and I ended up grouped as an "accomodator". Reading over my results, I was surprised to see just how well I fit into this category -- I'm definitely a person who learns best when actually doing something as opposed to seeing it or reading/writing about it. Unfortunately, the test also has me pegged as a person who may not complete work on time. In group discussion, we talked about how we could better ourselves as accomodators, and my personal goal is to attempt to have better time management skills. It won't be easy, and progress may be slow, but it's something I'd like to work on.
