Separation of of the Spaces...?

Writing in the tangible Case differs from the writing in the virtual Case; however, the relationship between the two forms of writing is like a family--everyone has there differences and yet they all come together to make something better.

There are many parts to Case, some happen to be in the virtual world and others rooted in reality. Is there one side of case that is better than another? I think that there are parts in one that are better than parts in the other, and vise versa.
One thing that is different between the virtual Case and the physical Case is the way the news is spread. In the Virtual case there is the Case Daily. You know that slightly annoying email that most people ignore. Evan (for confidentiality purposes that is what I will name him) was perturbed by the lack of coverage in the Case Daily. “I was upset that there wasn’t any mention of the activities that Case was having on September 11.” Generally there is nothing in it that he deems important to his day, and therefore he doesn’t look at it any more. On the other side of the divide, The Observer. Drew (same confidentiality reasons = name) likes The Observer because he thought it was helpful when it came to learning about events on campus. Personally I like it because it has funny stories in it, like the one that I read today about the person who put Belgium on an online store’s selling list—someone bid $14 million for it, and then it was taken off of the market. Things that are both informative and entertaining, and sometimes distracting—the crossword puzzles conveniently placed right by the classroom doors.
Besides the news, there are the classes that we as students need to keep up with. In the physical Case we have the teachers’ syllabi and their reminders. Granted some, or most depending on circumstances, of the syllabi are dry and boring when you get them. And reminders don’t tend to be anything more than that. I have a class in which the professor is really fun and that makes the reminders stick, for me anyway. On the Virtual Case there is the Blackboard function. Everything from class announcements to the syllabus, and homework assignments to the notes—it’s all there. Because the professors aren’t always available, this feature allows you to get all of the information from a class that you may have missed.
But is there really any better way to find out about social events than the sidewalk? Everything that you may want to know about the upcoming events on campus you can find as you walk to class. The sidewalk is a self-cleaning canvas—whenever it rains or enough people walk over it the announcement goes away and another one replaces it. Facebook can’t compare to that. You can create a invitation to an event, but is it as simple and easy as going out and chalking the information on the side walk.

There are many ways that one of the of the facets of Case could be better than the other, but one without the other would be something other than the Case that I know.
