Teamwork
Andrew Carnegie once said, “teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.” The more we are exposed to teamwork type projects throughout college the easier it will be to solve problems and meet goals in real work type situations. In my opinion, better results are achieved when planning, organizing, and decision-making is done cooperatively as a team. However, many problems may arise to disrupt the end results. For example, if an individual in a team does not do their work properly it can hurt the entire team. For this reason, it is necessary that each member of a team is on the same page, otherwise the end results may not be the best. In my opinion, I would rather work in teams for most projects because it will prepare me for careers I will have in the future.

Sonal,
Your description of teamwork strongly parallels my opinion. I prefer working alone on certain things, but still I understand the practicality of working with others to achieve a goal. The team is only as strong as its weakest member, therefore, it is essential to keep your teammates motivated any way you can. In my HR simulation group, I find that once everyone feels that they are a strong link in the team "chain", the motivation of not letting the others down becomes prevalent.
